About Hornby & Levy

We offer a comprehensive specialist service in all aspects of family law and family mediation.

Sephona Isaacs Polson, Sonya Gibbs and Lucy Verity are the three equity partners. They work with a team of assistant and trainee solicitors, and paralegals, together with 2 very experienced consultants, Simonetta Agnello Hornby, one of the founding partners, and Corraine Sadd.

Some of our solicitors are members of the Law Society Children Panel, which means that they have been approved by the Law Society as being expert in acting for children and parents in care proceedings where Social Services are involved.

We also have members of Resolution (previously the Solicitor’s Family Law Association) and we subscribe to the Resolution code of conduct, which means that although we will work hard to act for you and achieve your wishes in a professional and efficient way, we will not be unnecessarily adversary or aggressive, which we believe is counter-productive. Lucy Verity is a Resolution accredited specialist in the fields of private law children, and child abduction.

We have a specialist quality mark from the Legal Services Commission (www.legalservices.gov.uk) The firm has been quality approved by the LSC and we can carry out out legal aid work, which is paid for by the Government.
